The Starter Wife

Did you hear that there is going to be a new series based off of the 2007 miniseries??

The show was/is based on the novel of the same name by Gigi Levangie Grazer and tells the story of Molly Kagan (Debra Messing) who, after years of marriage to a Hollywood film mogul, is forced to redefine herself and her role in society when he leaves her for a younger woman. Soon after the main characters are introduced on the show, Molly is abandoned by her husband and is forced to rebuild her life and assert herself within the film community, most of which ignores her after the split.

I loved this miniseries and was crushed when it finished after only six episodes! Hopefully this series will be as well-written and well-acted as the miniseries.
